Welcome Message from EMS Chief Scott W. Brooker
Dear Visitor,
Welcome and thank you for visiting the official
website of Hocking County Emergency Medical
Service.
Hocking County EMS (HCEMS) serves the
citizens and visitors to Hocking County. HCEMS
is the only county EMS within Hocking County
and responds to all calls for medical service. In 2012 HCEMS responded to over
3,100 calls for service. Additionally HCEMS responds to structure fire calls and
motor vehicle accidents within the county.
Hocking County Emergency Medical Service employs 21 full-time Paramedics,
and 20 part-time members made up of Paramedics, Intermediates and EMTs.
HCEMS currently operates three stations to cover its 424 miles of territory.
Hocking County Emergency Medical Service has a long standing tradition of
providing the highest standard of care to the citizens of Hocking County. They
employ a highly trained and educated staff, utilize cutting edge equipment, and
pride themselves on providing the highest quality patient care.
The future is bright at HCEMS. With the recent passing of the replacement tax
levies HCEMS will be able to improve equipment, improve staffing and improve
training all in an effort to exceed our already exemplary patient care.
This webpage in addition to our already well established Facebook Page will
allow us to communicate with the citizens of Hocking County. It is my hope that
you find this webpage informative and helpful.
Wishing You Safety and Good Health,
Scott W. Brooker, EMTP
Hocking County EMS Chief
